This Pesach saw the introduction of AUJS LaTrobe’s first ever Matzah Bakery on campus. It was a successful effort to project the Jewish holiday of Pesach to the wider student community through the baking of matzot, and made an enormous impact. Capturing the attention of the surrounding non-Jewish students, creating an extraordinary Jewish presence on campus, and enticing more Jewish students to sign up to AUJS, the executive committee were ecstatic with the result.
